Collaborations and Platforms

In 2015, Alcoa Fastening Systems (now Arconic Fastening Systems) entered a contract with Airbus to develop and manufacture multi-material aerospace fasteners and fastening systems for every Airbus platform. Within the global rolled products segment, Arconic Inc. maintains an ongoing long-term contract to supply aluminum sheet and plate for Boeing Commercial Aircraft. They have also collaborated with Pratt & Whitney for  the engineering of front wing blades for the PurePower ⓡ Geared Turbofan engine.
